Eagles roll past Falcons, 31-17

The Philadelphia Eagles came out on fire and never let up in a 31-17 pasting of the Atlanta Falcons.

Quarterback Kevin Kolb made his second straight start and was extremely impressive, likely earning the starting job for at least another week.

The Eagles did lose wideout DeSean Jackson on a nasty hit, one that left him with a serious concussion.

Before Jackson left for the day, he scored one of four touchdowns scored by the Eagles in the game. (Read More…)

Eagles slowed down by Redskins, 17-12

The Philadelphia Eagles lost quarterback Michael Vick before also falling to the Washington Redskins, 17-12.

Vick was injured when he was scrambling toward the end zone and was sandwiched by two Redskins defenders.

The worst part about the injury was that it occurred on a play that meant nothing, as Philadelphia had been called for holding.

Kevin Kolb came on in relief of Vick and managed to get the Eagles into the end zone once, but was not very effective. (Read More…)
