Kolb to start for Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles will start Kevin Kolb at quarterback next week despite Michael Vick’s excellent play in the first two games.

Head coach Andy Reid is doing everything he can to avoid a quarterback controversy by saying Kolb is their guy.

He also knows he needs Kolb to succeed because his fate is likely tied to his quarterback’s play on the field.

Reid suggested the team could trade Donovan McNabb because he felt that Kolb could become a solid NFL quarterback. (Read More…)

The Philadelphia Eagles saw a fourth quarter rally fall short in a 27-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

After an ugly start to the day for quarterback Kevin Kolb, a concussion left him on the sidelines for the remainder of the game.

That meant that backup quarterback Michael Vick would take the reigns and try to spur a comeback.

Vick really turned things up a notch in the fourth quarter, giving the Eagles a chance to tie the game. (Read More…)
